SAIKA
Munatori Armor & Helmet
This
beautiful Yoroi, with its attractive phoenix
headboard, is modeled after the battlefield armor created
by SAIKA-SHU, known as the group of
samurais, iron artisans, weapon designers and landlords
located in the Kiinokuni state (current Wakayama
prefecture) from Sengoku Jidai (Warring States Period),
from the 1400-1600’s. SAIKA-SHU was also known
as the biggest army that owned thousands firearms made
in themselevs. They did created this beautiful matte
finished iron armor by concentrating their skills to
make anti-firearms gears. This armor has not only robust
specs but also an incredibly beautiful design.
The principle parts of this Yoroi are handcrafted out
of iron by our skilled artisans
in Japan.This historical armor set, suitable to display
or wear, consists of the Kabuto, Yoroi and Kogusoku
parts and accessories you see listed in the charts below.
Your armor will also come in a black lacquered wooden
storage box that doubles as a beautiful stand for you
to proudly display your Yoroi.

armor generally fits adults up to 6’ (185cm) tall,
with up to 41” (105cm) chests. If you need a larger
size, we would be happy to offer you our custom sizing
service to ensure a perfect fit. A slight fee (up to
30% of the listed price) may be charged, depending on
your measurements. It will take 1 to 2 additional weeks
to complete a custom sized suit of armor. |
